                                                             Did you know New Jersey has steep cliffs in its land-
                                                           scape?  We did and we couldn’t be happier to share! They are called the
                                                           Palisades and are part of the Palisades Interstate Park. The park is a National
                                                           Historic Landmark and the actual palisades are a National Natural Landmark.
                                                           If you're camping in Gateway, put this on your must-see list. If you're in the
                                                           mood for more of mother nature's finest, check out the Great Falls of Paterson.
                                                           This landmark is 260 feet wide with a 77 foot drop. In Gateway, you'll find nat-
                                                           ural beauty and arts and culture. From museums to galleries, there is always
                                                           something new to explore. The Gateway to Freedom shouldn't be visited
                                                           without seeing Ellis Island, the home of the Statue of Liberty.
