One of America’s Top Cultural Hotspots
Did you know New Jersey has steep cliffs in its land-
scape? We did and we couldn’t be happier to share! They are called the
Palisades and are part of the Palisades Interstate Park. The park is a National
Historic Landmark and the actual palisades are a National Natural Landmark.
If you're camping in Gateway, put this on your must-see list. If you're in the
mood for more of mother nature's finest, check out the Great Falls of Paterson.
This landmark is 260 feet wide with a 77 foot drop. In Gateway, you'll find nat-
ural beauty and arts and culture. From museums to galleries, there is always
something new to explore. The Gateway to Freedom shouldn't be visited
without seeing Ellis Island, the home of the Statue of Liberty.
