Entertainment Capital of the Jersey Shore
Atlantic City Boardwalk It's hard to understand what you're seeing until you
get close, but as soon as the grey and red colors start to take shape, you
know something unusual is coming into view. Lucy the Elephant, a six-story
National Historic Monument sits tall right near the beach in Margate. Take
a tour through the building, up the narrow stairs to see what was formerly a
hotel in the 20th Century. The Greater Atlantic City Region is home to so
many wonderful sites that you can camp there for years and not see them all.
Ride a thrill ride at Steel Pier. Take a stroll on the world-famous Atlantic City
Boardwalk, or press your luck at the craps table. Hike through forests or see
marine life up close... this is the Greater Atlantic City Region.
