“Let’s Go Camping in New Jersey” this Fall
From the mountains to the shore, parks are still welcoming guests to enjoy The Garden State.
Marmora, New Jersey --Campground operators in New Jersey are open and welcoming guests to experience the autumn leaves, spectacular, scenery, fall festivals, and haunted happenings in their locations now through the end of October.
Joann DelVescio, Executive Director of the New Jersey Campground Owners Association (NJCOA), says scores of RV parks and campgrounds are open, some offering quiet solitude and others with family-friendly events celebrating the season.
"It's going to be snowing before you know it," says DelVescio, "So we're encouraging everyone to get outdoors and go camping in New Jersey now. Bring your RV or your tent or check out parks that have on-site rentals like cabins or glamping tents."
DelVescio directs travelers to visit NJCOA's website at www.gocampingnj.com to start their planning. Tabs help users to "Find a Campground" by name, place, or amenities, and browse "Camping Deals & News" that include parks with openings on Columbus Day Weekend.
DelVescio notes that NJCOA is active on social media and encourages people to follow them for current events and openings.
"We work to share intel from our affiliated campgrounds about events and site availability, plus curate and share news about upcoming events across the state that might be of interest to our followers. So if you're looking for last minute plans or places to stay, we can help if you follow us on Facebook or Instagram by looking for @NJCampgrounds."
