New Jersey Camping Guide Wins National Award
November 5, 2025 - The camping directory published by the New Jersey Campground Owners Association (NJCOA) has been named the Best State Directory of the Year for a medium sized association by OHI, a national association representing the outdoor hospitality industry.
OHI (formerly known as the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds), presented Awards of Excellence to the "best of the best" in several categories during a special awards luncheon on November 5 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The luncheon was held during OHI's Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo(R). According to OHI's website, the awards recognize excellence in areas such as campground operations. customer service, marketing, innovation, environmental stewardship, and community involvement.
Joann DelVescio, NJCOA's Executive Director, is thrilled by the recognition. "We're always certain that each annual camping guide we produce is the best one yet, and this year our peers in the outdoor hospitality industry agreed! We are grateful for the nomination and award from OHI."
The current 84-page publication, designed by Glenn Clark at Crafting A Brand, lists over 90 privately operated campgrounds across New Jersey and provides editorial content and advertisements promoting things to do and places to going when visiting the Garden State.
