It’s not all entertainment and limelight in the region there are several
opportunities to get outdoors in the fresh air. Hiking, biking, boating,
fishing, and nature trails fill out the region along with many state and
county parks including, Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge,
Brigantine National Wildlife Refuge, Estell Manor, Lake Lenape,
Weymouth Furnace, Penny Pot, Gaskill, Riverbend, Patcong Creek,
just to name a few.

Steel Pier – Atlantic City - Located on the world-famous boardwalk in Atlantic
City since 1898 and home of the 227-foot Wheel which offers 360-degree views

Jersey’s beautiful beach. Whether you are skyrocketing to the stars over the ocean

Marine Mammal Stranding Center – Brigantine – The Marine Mammal
Stranding Center is the only rescue facility in the state that handles sick and injured
marine life such as whales, dolphins, seals and sea turtles. Educational programs
are available on or off-site as well as a Sea Life Museum.
