         Atlantic City, Absecon Lighthouse (New Jersey’s tallest lighthouse), and Lucy the Elephant call the region home.
         A variety of experiences can be had in Atlantic City with the casinos, boardwalk, amusements, shopping,
         entertainment, dining, and historical sites.

         It’s not all entertainment and limelight in the region there are several
         opportunities to get outdoors in the fresh air. Hiking, biking, boating,
         fishing, and nature trails fill out the region along with many state and
         county parks including, Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge,
         Brigantine National Wildlife Refuge, Estell Manor, Lake Lenape,
         Weymouth Furnace, Penny Pot, Gaskill, Riverbend, Patcong Creek,
         just to name a few.

         Storybook Land – Egg Harbor Twp – A must visit for families traveling in the
         region. Your childhood will come alive as your family walks through your favorite

         Steel Pier – Atlantic City - Located on the world-famous boardwalk in Atlantic
         City since 1898 and home of the 227-foot Wheel which offers 360-degree views
         of Atlantic City. The amusement park is just steps from casino resorts and New
         Jersey’s beautiful beach. Whether you are skyrocketing to the stars over the ocean
         or gathering for an event with the best view in town, the Steel Pier offers fun for
         everyone!

         Marine Mammal Stranding Center – Brigantine – The Marine Mammal
         Stranding Center is the only rescue facility in the state that handles sick and injured
         marine life such as whales, dolphins, seals and sea turtles. Educational programs
         are available on or off-site as well as a Sea Life Museum.

         Atlantic City – World class dining, entertainment, casinos, shopping, and clean
         sandy beaches can all be found in the shore town. If you are looking for a more
         laid-back visit you can stroll  (or pedal) the boardwalk and the beach to discover
         nature’s beauty. Climb all 228-steps of Abescon Lighthouse and enjoy the
         panoramic the views of Atlantic City.

         Entertainment – While you will find big name entertainment in Atlantic City, the
         region also boasts the Gateway Playhouse in Somers Point and The Eagle Theatre
         in Hammonton. Both theaters are known for their quality play productions and
         entertainment.

         Get Outdoors – The region is home to many National Wildlife Refuges, state
