SOUTHERN SHORE REGION





         The land of charm, grace, and 30 miles of wide sandy beaches which offer sunbathing, fishing, and watersports
         galore. Boardwalks and amusements, world class golf courses, gourmet restaurants, several exceptional wineries and
         breweries, a historic village, eco-tourism, and a top-rated zoo round out the region.

         At New Jersey’s southern tip is the city of Cape May, a National Historic Landmark with more than 600 Victorian-era
         buildings. Shop along cobblestone streets, take in the Victorian-era architecture, or dine in one of the many gourmet
         restaurants or relax on the beach with a good book.


         Adventures




         Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts (MAC) – Offering a variety of events
         and attractions in Cape May, including the Emlen Physick Estate, Cape
         May Lighthouse, and the World War II Lookout Tower.

         Cape May-Lewes Ferry – Cape May – Not only will the ferry transport
         your RV or camper, but they host many events on the ferry and at the

         NASW Aviation Museum – Cape May Airport - A non-profit museum
         located at the Cape May Airport inside historic Hangar #1. Commissioned
         in April 1943, NASW served as an active dive-bomber squadron training
         facility during World War II. Today, the hangar houses several aircraft,
         engines, special exhibits, and educational interactive displays. Bring the
         kids and travel back in time to this 92,000 square foot sampling of the

         Wildwood Boardwalk & Downtown  - Amusements, shopping,
         dining, events, activities, and fun can be found in Wildwood on the

         Barrier Islands – Beaches stretch the length of the region along the
         barrier islands. Each town on the islands offer a unique experience.
         Shopping, dining, and activities for the whole family are abundant in the
         shore towns.


         Get Outdoors – If you are looking to head off the beach and explore
         the forest then Belleplain State Forest is the spot to head to. Cape May
         Point State Park and Corson’s Inlet State Park offer beaches, fishing, and
         swimming. Fortescue State Marina is the perfect spot to put your boat into
         the Delaware Bay. The Cape May Zoo is a local and vacationer favorite
         spot. The free zoo houses a variety of animals including giraffes, a lion and
         tiger, monkeys, birds, and amphibians.
