Camping Etiquette

There are basic rules of etiquette for practically every situa-

tion and camping isn't an exception. Everyone who camps

regularly or even the casual camper knows consideration
goes a long way. Here are a few etiquette tips for you to

follow on your next camping adventure!

                              RESPECT YOUR CAMPSITE

Leave it the way you found it.

                              RESPECT OTHER CAMPSITES
                              Don't tread through neighboring
sites to get to your destination.

                              TURN OFF YOUR LIGHTS

Set a timer so you're not keeping
                              lights on too late.

                              CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR PET
Grab a small pack of baggies and
                              you're set.

                              SHARE SOME SUPPLIES
                              Have extra hotdogs? Share with
                              your next door neighbor.

                              MEET YOUR NEIGHBORS

                              See above.

                              PUT YOUR FIRE OUT
                              This is common sense safety.

                              KEEP PETS ON LEASH

Again, this one may not seem like
much, but for someone who isn't a
                              dog person, it's everything.

                                                                                          2017 NJCOA Guidebook 47
