NJCOA Recognizes Campgrounds at Annual Meeting

This October during their annual Fall Tour and General Membership Meeting New Jersey Campground Owners Association (NJCOA) granted awards to members in a variety of categories; Best Brochure, Best Website, Best Event, Most Creative Activity, and Best Customer Service.

Executive Director, Joann DelVescio commented that NJCOA wanted to recognize campgrounds who work hard to develop a cohesive and up to date marketing campaign, who think outside of the box to provide fun events or activities for their campers, and applaud a campground who has outstanding front desk staff that goes above and beyond. She continued, "we took nominations during August and September to give campgrounds time to submit for the October 2nd meeting." DelVescio stated that the office staff sorted through the entries and chose the winners for 4 of the categories. Best Customer Service award was based on the customer service Joann received during her campground visits of all 95 members.

The winners are as follows,

  • Best Brochure - The Great Divide Campground - Skylands Region
  • Best Website - Holly Shores Camping Resort - Southern Shore Region
  • Best Event - Bike Wash - Sleepy Hollow Family Campground - Greater Atlantic City Region
  • Most Creative Activity - Kindness Rocks - Indian Rock RV Park - Shore Region
  • Best Customer Service - Mays Landing Campground - Greater Atlantic City Region
