You Can Still Find NJ Campsites for Memorial Day and Father's Day Weekends

Independently owned campgrounds have campsites and on-site rentals; book now.

Pomona, New Jersey -- May 23, 2023 -- The New Jersey Campground Owners and Outdoor Lodging Association (NJCOA) has several parks across the state reporting openings for the upcoming Memorial Day weekend, as well as Father's Day weekend in June.

According to NJCOA's Executive Director Joann DelVescio, with the summer season almost upon us, sites will go fast so book now. "People are just itching to get out of the house and on the road for summer vacations, and they're definitely looking at New Jersey for shoreline adventures as well as a country spaces for getting away from the big cities nearby like New York and Philadelphia." says DelVescio, "While we do have parks indicating they have openings, we can't stress enough the need to book ahead to ensure a campsite."

Openings were available at the time of reporting by park operators, but some sites may have been booked in the interim. Travelers should contact parks directly to make reservations. Each park has its own policies for bookings, cancellations, pets, and facility usage.
