27th Mid-Atlantic Coastal States Campground Conference & Trade Show

Campground owners and managers along the Mid-Atlantic Coastal states region can FOCUS ON THE FUTURE of the 2018 camping season when they attend the 27th Annual Mid-Atlantic Coastal States Campground Conference and Trade Show (MAC), March 12 to 14 in Dover, DE. The 3-day conference will feature 2 keynote luncheon speakers, 12 educational seminars, and over 30 exhibitors. This year the seminars will help attendees focus on the upcoming camping season and beyond.

"Each year the Annual Conference acts as a kick-off to the camping season. Campground owners gather and share ideas, network, and prepare for the upcoming season.", Joann DelVescio, event organizer, commented. The conference will focus on the theme of "Focus on the Future". Joann has gathered a variety of industry speakers for educational seminars that will help campground owners have a successful 2018 season. Nicole Poisson from KOA will speak on the latest camping stats and trends during Tuesday's lunch. Katie Denis, Vice President, US Travel Association will speak during Monday's lunch about the US Travel Association initative, Project: Time-Off. The Trade Show, featuring companies and products for campground and RV park owners, will be held on Tuesday, March 13th. The show allows owners to purchase products and services and free up time in the spring to focus on opening their campgrounds.

The conference isn't all business, DelVescio said. Monday evening at the Dover Downs Race Track, a race will be named in honor of the conference and Tuesday evening will feature the Annual Banquet & Auction. "This is a fun evening where everyone, including the exhibitors, are invited to socialize, share stories, reconnect with old friends and make new", she continued. Joann also hopes to see many new campgrounds from New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland at the conference this year.
